Tay grew up in Columbia, Maryland. His love for music primarily stems from his dad, but his tuned-in work ethic seems to be something that he was just born with. At twelve years old, he saw DJ Scribble on MTV. At age 15, he began interning at Unruly Records in Baltimore.
